The village offers great facilities for eating out with the newly refurbished Crees Inn open every evening for dinner and fine ale! There is a cafe and further restuarant  both open until for dining until 6.30pm. There is a local shop that offers most things you'll need on a day to day basis which is open Monday - Saturday between 0900-1900. The city of Perth is only 10 minutes drive and there is a bus service that serves to Perth via the Bridge of Earn. There are numerous walks and cycles on the doorstep, and golf aplenty within 10 - 45 minutes which also capture the world renowned St Andrews, Kingsbarns, Blairgowrie, Gleneagles and Carnoustie courses, amongst many other hidden gems. (If planning a golf trip it is advisable to speak with the owners in advance who can assist with this type of holiday).

The village has 2 parks, a tennis court, bowling green and Museum. The Round Tower, one of only 2 in Scotland, was built by the Picts and sits in a historic graveyard directly opposite one of the 2 restaurants, Berryfields, who hold the key to allow visitors to access and climb the tower.

Centrally located, whatever type of holiday you want, Cordon Cottage is a comfortable and homely place to stay within striking distance of all major cities and close to other major historic attractions such as Scone or Falkland Palace.
